What I Do
Analyze Data and Strategize
I develop and manage data systems to measure the impact of instruction. These data systems are also used to guide pivots in instruction, both short and long-term, based on student need. I utilize data to support, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of strategies.
Coaching and Collaboration
I implement the coaching cycle to build the instructional and leadership capacity of para-educators, teachers, and other instructional leaders. We start with points of data to help identify needs, identify action steps, provide learning opportunities, observe with data collection, and reflect on outcomes and success. Collaboration is necessary not only throughout this cycle, but also in coordinating different personnel that may be necessary to provide the support needed.
Professional Learning
I design and facilitate professional learning opportunities that target needs within a department, school, or district. The purposes of these professional learning have varied but desired outcomes all impact efficient instruction, improved student achievement and the appropriate support of the whole child. I also seek professional development in order to better myself as an instructional leader.
